‘Live’ Broadcasting From HUB Festival 2015
Unsigned & Inspired Showreel – 13th July 2015
This week we had the pleasure to broadcast the ever evolving Paul Stephen Edwards, the charismatic and gentle Owain L Whatley and the formidable five-piece that are known as Tendons. All gave exemplary performances for the loyal locals and online listeners which you can see below. And as ever a big thank you to IronHeart CS for the video, Cardiff AfterDark for sharing our events nationwide and the wonderful Gemma Collard Photography for wicked pics and reviews 🙂
Paul Stephen Edwards delivers his gritty, emotive songs with a mastery of his vocal range, delivered with acoustic guitar in a punchy, heartfelt way. Find Paul here: http://twitter.com/ PSE_Music

Owain L Whatley‘s bluesy melodic folk makes you sit up and pay attention. He throws out a serious smoulder with his lyrics and quiet but edgy guitar. He tells big stories through big songs and a big voice. He even treated us to one he’d written on the day! Now that is the kind of exclusive we like at Big Scott Radio. The collective sounds of Tendons Music is really quite beautiful. Chilled out, acoustic melodies, five-part harmonies licked with double bass makes for a really intimate, special gig. Find Tendons here: http://on.fb.me/1LgMaz6

Brewhouse ‘Live’ – Amo Rex, Ambergris & Floral Wham Trams – 01-06-2015
tonight’s ‘Live’ broadcasts from the Brewhouse was an all female affair! Beautiful melodies, soulful harmonies and fun were the order of the night.
==
Amo Rex has the most beautifully chilled, dreamy voice. She sings of stolen moments, distant memories and with raw emotion. She writes, plays and sings the kind of songs that make you want to lean your head on a special someone’s shoulder. You can place yourself in each of her songs. I particularly felt this during ‘Echo of the Rain’. Beautiful tones, keep watching this talent emerge.
==
Ambergris‘ singer has a powerfully captivating voice, she sings with real clarity and is supported by two stunningly melodic guitars. Their song ‘Gold’ particularly stands out and is live in Big Scott’s playlist on Inspired by Unsigned now. They grab the audience’s attention, humbling and melancholy.
==
The Floral Wham Trams – WOW! A young band, full of fun and summer funk. Their sound is filled with fiddle, banjo, bass, guitar, ukulele, tambourine, a strong drum line and three female vocals. They’re a band of best friends, you can see they’re having fun and it’s infectious. They make you tap your toes, shimmy down with a real festival feel. They create an atmosphere and are REALLY exciting to watch. Catch them soon!

‘Live’ By The River – Sleepyhouse – Thousand Fingers
May’s Nosda ‘Live’ Broadcast saw the Sleepyhouse duo and Thousand Fingers Band make their debut in Cardiff.
Sleepyhouse are a guitar and vocal duo with a chilled out vibe mixed with funky guitar and emotive vocals. We’ve broadcast them twice now and each time they’ve evolved and grown in stage presence. The journey is just beginning but I’m excited to see where these two are going. On to the next big stage!
==
Thousand Fingers – They bring wall-to-wall sound, they clearly LOVE playing their music. A full set, packed with a heavy bass line, some serious stadium rock guitar riffs, brilliantly heavy drums and strengthening, passionate vocals, they are FUN and they make you want to move. Plus, they’re the nicest, most gracious lads in rock and roll!

Tobias writes about those near misses we all encounter in love. He gets passionately involved with both the music and the lyrics; his vocals and fretwork are testament to that. Find Tobias Robertson here –http://on.fb.me/1JV3o4E
Harri makes his guitar produce a crisp, clean, and everlasting sound. You can see how much he’s moved by what he’s singing about; while his feet tap away to the rhythm, I can’t help but want to hear it amplified. Find Harri Davies here – http://on.fb.me/1LeWub
Leighton Jones & The Soul Tip are a six piece seduction of soul. They produce a full sound, strong percussion, velvet bass, funky guitars, bright keyboard rhythms and a beautiful marriage between the two vocals.
